Upright Citizen's Brigade

Went to UCB Theater for the first time to watch Anthony Jeselnik do a set. I didn't know who else was on that night, turns out it was Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Nick Swardson and Kevin Nealon  (the headliner)
He was really funny. He did this improv Mad Lib with the audience. The story started off about health care and ended up about getting raped by doctors. -classy

First impressions:
-Cheap: most shows like this one are only $5
-It's B.Y.O.B.? (bring your own booze for you minors) That beats any other comedy club out there with their 2 drink minimums. I brought in a 6 pack of Red Stripes and spent less than $10, which would've only bought me 1 beer at the Imrov.

Conclusion:
The shows are cheap, you can bring your own alcohol and the comedians are funny. Plus it's a theater not a club, so there's more they can do. They have this one show called "Face book Wednesdays" where they go on random audience member's Face book accounts and dissect them in front of everyone.
Random fact: UCB's alumni include Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Aziz Ansari, Paul Scheer and Rob Hubel (Human Giant)

Here's the site: UBC Theater
Hit me up if you're going, I'm always down to go.
